Introduced in 2007, the smartlipo laser technology now utilizes 1064, 1320 and 1440 wave lengths.  One wavelength targets red blood cells and thus results in less blood loss & bruising.  Another produces a burst of energy as it enters the fatty tissue that dissolves the fat so it can be removed by suctioning and the third tightens the skin.  The procedure is very safe with a new thermaguide to control tissue heating to maximize skin shrinkage.  This leads to a less traumatic process for the body allowing for quicker healing.   Our Smartlipo patients have had very little bruising which has made a big difference in the healing process.  Some of the pictures in are Before & After section show our patients only 2-3 weeks post surgery with no bruising- virtually unheard of with regular liposuction!

Smartlipo triPlex is especially effective in treating targeted areas of undesired fat and high vascular areas.  The secondary advantage of skin tightening has made Smartlipo TriPlex liposuction effective in areas that may have previously required skin excision (more invasive with longer recovery).
